Scouting Report | Marlin is a natural leader. He takes control of his team when he is on the floor. I think that is one of his best attributes. He is always positioning players and encouraging them. He is a coach on the floor. Marlin has above average quickness, but he isn't going to beat the good D1 point guards off of one dribble. He is very steady with the ball. I rarely see him make mistakes while handling the ball. The turnovers are usually when he thinks a teammate is going to cut and he doesn't. Jonny is a good outside shooter especially in transition. He will stop and hit a 3 or hit a pull up 15 footer if the defense is trying to stop the layup. He has great court vision, his head is always up and looking for an open teammate. Laterally, he is very good so he is able to pressure most guards without a high chance of getting blown by.His height is a drawback but he makes up for it by being extremely smart in the everything he does. |
