It came down to the final possession, but the Indiana All-Stars won their 16th game in a row against Kentucky on Sunday, 99-96. Eugene German scored 34 points in the victory for the shorthanded Indiana All-Stars.

Kyle Guy, CJ Walker, Kyle Mallers, Tucker Blackwell and Eron Gordon all missed the game on Sunday. Guy and Walker left for college. Mallers had his high school graduation. Blackwell sprained his ankle last week. Gordon left for Seton Hall last week. It left the Indiana All-Stars with eight players on Sunday. Early on, it didn't look like it was going to be an issue. German's scoring pushed Indiana to a comfortable lead at halftime.

The Indiana lead swelled to 19 points in the second half. Desmond Bane was a major cause for that. Bane went 10-10 in the game for 25 points.

Kentucky battle back, though. Northern Kentucky recruits Carson Williams and Mason Faulkner led the charge. The two combined for 40 points on 15-25 shooting from the field. Kentucky never led in the second half but had a chance in the waning seconds.

Indiana escaped with the 99-96 victory. Tremell Murphy added 12, Joey Brunk 10, while Dru Smith and Damien Jefferson added nine points, each.
