The record book is in constant motion with the 2018 class. Eric Hunter, Purdue signee, moved into 10th on the all-time scoring list. Mekhi Lairy, Miami of Ohio signee, broke the 2,000 mark. (Pictured: Eric Hunter as a freshman)
Eric Hunter tallied 45 points in Tindley's blow out win of Herron Friday night. He moved ahead of Alan Henderson on the all-time scoring list. Hunter has one regular season game left then at least one postseason game. Tindley is a favorite to make a deep run in 1A, though. He could end his career in the top five.
Mekhi Lairy passed the 2,000 career point mark early in Bosse's game against Mater Dei. He is four points away (by my count) to breaking into the top 50 scorers of all time.
Romeo Langford scored 25 points against Bedford North Lawrence as New Albany rolled. Damon Bailey was on the bench as an assistant coach for BNL.
Robert Phinisee scored 34 points in a win over Muncie Central. He is 98 points away from 2,000 by my records.
Jalen Moore scored 23 points as Cloverdale lost big to Indianapolis Manual.
Tyler Watson scored 31 points in a win against North Montgomery.
