Indiana Basketball Source's 2020-2021 preseason Class 3A all-state teams feature seven players that have signed with D1 programs. A few more have D1 offers. Heading into the season, Purdue signee Trey Kaufman is the top 3A prospect. The skilled forward is looking to push Silver Creek to its second state championship. The Dragons had a great chance to repeat last season before the cancellation.

As a junior, Kaufman took a major step as a shooter. He shot 40 percent on 82 three-point attempts. To back up that accuracy, Kaufman shot 75 percent from the free throw line. With his size and athleticism, Kaufman is one of the most versatile players in the state. In addition to his shooting, Kaufman converted 70 percent of his two-point attempts. At the high school level, there aren't many holes to Kaufman's game.
