Landis can really shoot the ball. He is good off the catch and off the bounce. He likes to use the fake crossover to freeze his defender and then go up for a shot. He is also a pretty good passer that reads the defense well and uses pass fakes well. Landis is also really good at attacking gaps in the defense off the catch when the defense is still rotating from the pass. I would like him to be a bit more of a point guard and handle the ball a little bit better against tough defensive pressure and traps. He is more of a shooting guard right now and I think he could be a really good PG for Gardner-Webb if he tightened up his handles. Laterally, he isn't the quickest defender but he is pretty strong and he isn't afraid of a challenge. Mental toughness can make up for a lot of quickness.
