All 2015 player rankings have been updated on the site. The class is filled with college potential. At this point, only a couple players (Jalen Coleman and Hyron Edwards) have solidified themselves as high-major prospects. Here is a breakdown of our top five college prospects in the 2015 class. (Complete 2015 rankings)
#1 Jalen Coleman (6'2" G Cathedral) is an athletic guard that has contributed for Cathedral since day one. He has great quickness and is capable of being a lock-down defender against either guard spot.
#2 Hyron Edwards (5'11" PG East Chicago Central) is an explosive play-maker that seems to always make the right pass. His athleticism allows him to blow by defenders and finish above the rim. His outside shooting is his weakness, but it has improved greatly.
#3 Gary Bonds (6'8" PF Warren Central) is a prospect with a very high ceiling. He is long and athletic, but has been hampered by injuries over the last year. He broke his ankle in the fall. Once he is completely healthy and is able to get into the weight room consistently, he game is going to take off in a major way.
#4 K.J. Walton (6'2" SG Brownsburg) possibly has the best first step of any of the 2015 prospects. That quickness makes it very difficult to keep Walton out of the lane. His outside shooting is streaky at this point, and he must protect the ball better.
#5 Chandler White (6'1" SG Carroll (Fort Wayne) is another very good athlete. He is a good spot-up shooter from the outside, but he is most productive attacking the basket. He has always been a wing to this point. It is important for him to transition into being a guard.
