Past_Notes

12-23-14 vs. Attucks. 33 points, 16 rebounds, 15- 25 FG, 0-1 3FG, 3-4 FT. 4 turnovers. Rebounds at a high level. Average motor/focus on the defensive end. Shot looks much improved from last year - better arc. Ball-handling is very weak. Jefferson is a high-major prospect if he is willing to work and take coaching.

12-6-14 vs. Brownsburg. 30 points, 10 rebounds, 0 assists, 3 turnovers. Played all 32 minutes with ease. 11-22 FG, 5-9 3FG, 3-4 FT. Outside shot looked good but his mechanics will make him an inconsistent shooter. High-major frame, length and feet. Needs to be more consistent. Always talking to his teammates on the floor, couple really nice passes, rebounding at a high level.

The long and athletic Jefferson showed flashes of his big-time potential on Saturday. He scored 15 points on 12 shots. He was up and down against Bloomington South, but he has the ability to shoot it from the outside. He can put the ball on the floor. Jefferson has a chance to be an elite defender with his length and quickness. Jefferson rushed his shot a few times on Saturday and the result was not good. He has the base to be a really good prospect, he just needs to refine his skill set. He says that his academics are doing much better this year. He was ineligible the second half of last year due to grades.

Overall_Notes The build of Jefferson is the first thing that catches the eye of scouts and college coaches. He has wide shoulders with long arms. He will be able to put on muscle with ease. Jefferson is a good spot-up shooter, but he will rush his shot which leads to inconsistency from the outside. He has all the tools to be an elite defender with his length, size and quickness. His ball-handling and dribble moves while attacking the basket need work in order to reach his college potential.
