Eugene German transferred from Andrean High School to 21st Century Charter in Gary this fall. He had a great showing at the Pangos Frosh/Soph camp in October. Now it looks like he is poised for a breakout season for 21st Century. Here is a closer look at German.

Scouting Report | First time seeing German after hearing a lot about him. He is long and lanky right now. He is thin, but he has some strength to his frame. He has a quick first step. He made a few good passes, but he also took some questionable shots. German only scored six points in the first half against Tindley before scoring 21 in the second half. His outside shooting is average to slightly above average. He has D1 quickness. German is a good ball-handler. Unless he grows a few more inches, German's ceiling is mid-major. He is likely a top 20 prospect in the state of Indiana for the 2016 class right now. Low to Mid-Majors should keep an eye on German. |
