Past Notes

Smith has been a key piece to Reitz' great season. He keys a lot of the turnovers with his lateral quickness and length. He has averaged 11 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals per game as a junior. He is a solid athlete, but not real explosive. He finishes really well in the paint. He doesn't shoot much from the outside, but his free throw mechanics are solid. Average to thin build.

Fantastic length for his height. He uses that length to create on both ends of the floor. Steady ball-handler. Not a fast twitch athlete at this point.

Scouting Report 6-2 lead guard that does a little bit of everything. His length for the point guard position is his biggest strength going forward. Sees the floor well and executes passes well. He is active defensively and gets a ton of steals and deflections because of his length. Not an outside shooting threat right now, but his free throw shooting form is fair, so he could develop it down the road. Definitely upside to his game.
