12-6-14 vs. Ben Davis. 10 points, 6 rebounds, 3 turnovers. 3-6 FG, 4-7 FT. Not his great game but not a bad performance. Didn't get many touches in the game.

9-16-14 Southport Open Gym - Brunk is looking reat. Reports himself at 6-10, 240. He is moving well. Brunk moved without the ball really well during 4 on 4 play. His outside shot is very consistent when he has time. Going against 6-9 Dut Mabock each day is helping his pot game progress as well. His game keeps improving. Brunk started off slowly against Brebeuf's zone, but he showed flashes of his potential. He has a great touch around the basket for a 6-foot-8 sophomore. He has good footwork from the post. Brunk just needs to add muscle in order to execute those moves at a higher level. Brunk ended up with 3 turnovers basically because he got off balance in the post.

He finished the game with 11 points and 5 rebounds against Brebeuf.

Brunk had a very good game against Decatur Central in his first game with Southport. He had 21 points and 10 rebounds. Brunk showed really soft touch around the basket. He got hacked a few times around the basket and no foul was called which hurt his shooting percentage a bit. He had one play in the half court where he drove from the wing and had a nice finger roll as help was coming over. In a few months, I expect Brunk to finish that with a dunk. He looks in very good shape right now. Brunk was moving his feet very well for his age and size. He showed the ability to get out and guard on the perimeter. Brunk did not take any shots outside of the lane tonight, but that is because he had a huge advantage inside. He does have the ability to hit 15-19 footers although he went 1-3 from the free-throw line. He keeps improving every time that I see him play.

Overall_Notes Good hands. Great touch in the lane. He takes too long to get into his move right now- takes unnecessary dribbles. Back to the basket game has shown steady improvement over the last 15 months. Active and doesn't mind being physical. Can face-up and hit a 15 footer. Athleticism is average but will finish plays around the rim in traffic with a dunk.
