Scouting Report: | Long and wiry build. Average to narrow shoulder width. Good leaper and combined with his long arms (6-11 wingspan) allows him to play above the rim with ease. Good follow through and rotation on the ball especially during his free-throws. Shot really well during soph year of HS but has struggled since then. He is a top 3 player in the country when he is shooting well from 3. Langford can put the ball on the floor with some dribble moves. He plays with his hips low to the ground which allows him to change direction and explode up to the basket with ease off the bounce. He finds gaps in the defense while driving really well. He is one of the best finishers that you will see at the high school level - not only because he can dunk everything but because of the angles and archs he puts on shots when defenders try to block his shot. Langford has the phyiscal tools to be a very good defender down the road with his length and lateral quickness. The next step defensively is playing through a second effort like getting over a tough screen or fighting to contest a shot when he loses a step. | |||||||||
