The 6-4 junior averaged 24 points a game this season for the 18-6 Frankton Eagles. Korn shot 57% from two-point range this season and 83% from the line. “There were a lot of games we lost that I thought we should have won. We lost six games and three were in overtime (1 triple OT & 2 double OT),” said Korn of the season.

Korn is not the only prospect on the Frankton roster. Sophomore Austin Compton is making a name for himself as a passing point guard. “He (Compton) really helps a lot. Whenever anyone is open he sees them. He has really good vision, and he is getting a lot better,” said Korn.

Korn currently has scholarship offers from Miami (OH), Rollins (FL), St. Francis (IN), Hillsdale and Indiana Wesleyan. Wright State, Eastern Kentucky and Stetson University are also showing a high level of interest. “I’m actually taking a visit to Stetson during spring back. I’m going down to Rollins, too,” reported Korn.

Korn does not plan to make a college decision anytime soon. “I’m keeping everything open because I don’t know what is going to end up happening. I’ll probably make my decision before next high school season starts,” commented Korn.

Korn will be competing with Fieldhouse Elite once again this season. The team also features Aaron Brennan and Grant Evans (Wright State). There are a couple of areas that he is looking to improve: his strength and defense. “I think I need to get bigger. That’s what I’ve been doing after the season,” said Korn. He also said that he is working on his defense because he knows that he needs to improve that for the next level. {/iACL}
