If you are still looking for a post player for the 2013 class, La Lumiere's Marin Maric might be your guy. The 6-10 senior plays with a lot of energy and is a force on the glass.

Maric has visited Charlotte and LaSalle so far. He will also likely visit St. Louis according to La Lumiere coach Alan Huss. "He has played really well for us lately," said Huss.

He does not have much lift off the floor, but he is a true 6-10. He weighs about 245 pounds right now. "His big thing is that he needs to lose 15 (pounds of fat) and put 10 (pounds of muscle) back on," reported Huss. That change would really help his athleticism.

"He’s our best offensive post player," said Huss. Maric is a back to the basket post, but he is adding range to his game. "He can definitely step out and hit a jump shot or reverse the basketball on the perimeter," said Huss.

The reason why I like Maric is his size and his effort. There are not many 6-10 players that play as hard as Maric does. His game needs some work, but if he changes his body like Coach Huss wants him to then he could really improve quickly. Maric is a no-brainer for low-major programs and worth checking out for mid-majors. {/iACL}
