Johnson to Purdue

Ronnie Johnson, 5'10 point guard North Central, announced on Monday that he will play his college basketball at Purdue University. Johnson's final two choices were Purdue and Illinois. Butler was one of his favorites before Chris Harrison-Docks, 6'0 point guard Okemos, Michigan, committed to Butler in late April.

Ronnie will be joining his brother, Terone, on the Purdue basketball team. The two won a state title for North Central High School in the 2009-2010 season. The Purdue 2012 recruiting class now has Ronnie Johnson (PG), Rapheal Davis (SG), Kyle Molock (PG), and Jay Simpson (PF).
