Patrick Ingram Interview

Patrick Ingram has been a major piece for North Central the last two years. Ingram has been the defensive stopper as North Central has gone 47-6.

Here is what the 6’2 senior-to-be shooting guard had to say Wednesday…

IBS: Who do you have offers from right now?

Patrick Ingram: “St. Louis, Southern Illinois, Northern Illinois, Ball State, Indiana State, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, Ohio, Loyola”

IBS: Who else is showing interest in you?

Patrick Ingram: “Wichita State, Tennessee, Iowa, Western Michigan, IUPUI

IBS: Where have you visited in the past?

Patrick Ingram: “I’ve been to St. Louis. I’ve been to Ball State.”

IBS: Do you plan to make any visits in June?

Patrick Ingram: “June is the big month for me. I’m taking a visit to Loyola, Wichita State in June. This Saturday, I’m going to St. Louis. I’m going to Tennessee the 26th. I’m going to Iowa soon and I’m going to Indiana State soon.”

IBS: Will you be going to any elite camps?

Patrick Ingram: “Saturday St. Louis, the 26th Tennessee then Wichita State’s elite camp.”

IBS: Have you started to narrow your college choices yet?

Patrick Ingram: “Not too much, I’ve still got my options open to everybody. I know I want to commit before my senior year. So, I plan to commit at the end of July…around that time.”

IBS: Will the level of play be a factor in your decision…for example high-major vs. mid-major?

Patrick Ingram: “It really isn’t. I’m not big on big name schools. I’m going to make my decision on knowing if I’m going to go in and play. I don’t want to get caught up in the big school’s name cause all the top name players go there and they have to wait their turn or sit the bench. I’m looking for a place I can go and play right away. Coaching staff will play a big part.”
