2021 Bloomington South and Indiana Elite guard Connor Hickman committed to Bradley University, per his Twitter post.
With his pledge to Bradley, Hickman will be playing for a Bloomington South alum as Bradley has assistant coach Drew Adams on staff under head coach Brian Wardle. Adams, a 2004 South graduate, recruited Hickman hard throughout the process.
Thank you to my family, everybody who has coached me, and to all the colleges who have recruited me. With that being said I’m excited to say that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Bradley University!! 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️ #gobraves @bradleyumbb pic.twitter.com/vZengqVJGS

Prior to his commitment, Hickman had scholarship offers from Ball State, Elon, Evansville, Furman, Indiana State, Toledo, and Wofford. Many of those offers came this spring after helping Bloomington South to an undefeated season. Obviously, the season was ended after the sectional round before South could challenge for a state title.
Without the pandemic, Hickman would have been a player that college coaches would have wanted to see during the club season. Coming off his junior year, his recruitment kept growing and a spring or summer evaluation period would have likely enhanced that.
In seven high-profile games this high school season, here's what Hickman did.
New Albany graduate Sean East will be sitting out this year for Bradley after transferring from UMass. When Hickman arrives, East will be a redshirt sophomore East averaged 9.3 points and 4.9 assists per game as a freshman for UMass.
Hickman has played with Indiana Elite's main team - Indiana Elite 2021 - throughout his high school career.
