2023 Cathedral and George Hill All Indy center Xavier Booker showcased his immense talent and potential over the weekend at the NY2LA Sports Spring Extravaganza. He was recently offered by LSU and Kansas State. Indiana Basketball Source takes a look at Booker’s game and future.

 

Many have been caught off guard by Booker’s early spring success and offers. Booker is included in that group as he did not see the LSU scholarship offer coming during the first time he spoke with the LSU coaches.

 

“I was excited,” Booker told Indiana Basketball Source about the LSU offer. “I was shocked. I was not expecting that offer, so I was definitely excited.”

 

Booker’s physical tools jump off the page – 6’10”, longer wingspan than his height, runs fluidly, does not need much of a gather around the rim. Those physical characteristics make him a high-major prospect, but he also has the skill base to justify the big schools looking at him.
