Pickett Picks Loyola

Jordan Pickett entered the club season this spring with zero college scholarship offers. By the time July was over, he had 5 scholarship offers. On Tuesday, Pickett made a verbal commitment to Loyola University-Chicago. He chose the Ramblers over Ball State, Ohio, Western Michigan, and Winthrop. Pickett joins a handful of Indiana natives on the LUC roster...Joe Crisman (Munster 2011), Nick Osborne (Munice Central 2012), and Matt O'Leary (Terre Haute North 2012).

Pickett is an athletic, combo guard who likes to attack the basket using his superior athleticism. He can also shoot it really well from the outside especially when he takes in-rhythm shots off the catch. He has always been more of a shooting guard than a point guard because he has a scorer's mentality but he has developed into more of a lead guard this spring and summer.
