Fishers entered Thursday night's game with a perfect 3-0 record on the season with wins over NorthWood, Noblesville and Shortridge. Warren Central was just 1-3 with a win over Brownsburg and losses to Tech, Cathedral and Franklin Central.

Fishers used the senior duo of Cameron Wolter and Lance Dollison early and often. They combined for 11 first quarter points. Senior Bishop Smith and junior Mack Smith kept it close for Warren Central. They each had four first period points.

Mack Smith was all over the floor for Warren Central in the first half. He had nine points and five rebounds. It appeared that Smith caught his arm with an opponent while going for a rebound and left the game with a shoulder injury. He missed the rest of the game.

Dollison started off hot in the second half scoring eight quick points. The Fishers lead ballooned to 43-35 early in the third quarter, but Warren Central answered right back due to Fishers turnovers. The Warriors finished the period with a 12-3 run to take the lead into the fourth quarter.

Warren Central was hit by the turnover bug in the fourth quarter. Every possession was a struggle to get the ball up the court under control against the pressure from Fishers. Andre Small was a piece of the fourth quarter rally. He played well especially in the second half. Small finished with nine points.

Trequan Spivey was quiet for much of the game, but he was big down the stretch. He knocked down four of four free throws on his way to nine points in the period.

Fishers was able to two points a few times late in the game. They were never able to get over the hump and take the lead despite a late three pointer by Lance Dollison that gave Fishers a chance.

Bishop Smith sealed the game with free throws. He converted his last five free throws in the fourth quarter on his way to 18 points.

Warren Central won the game 71-66. Warren Central moves to 2-3 on the season and will play Saturday against Crown Point at the Forum Credit Union Tip Off Classic. Fishers falls to 3-1. They have more than a week off before taking on rival Hamilton Southeastern.
