Warren Central entered the Forum Credit Union Tip Off Classic with a 2-3 record, but they were coming off a tough win against Fishers. Crown Point was just 1-1 on the young season.

Senior guard Blake Bonin was aggressive for Crown Point early in the game. He scored four points in the opening period. While junior wing Trequan Spivey was the main offensive production for Warren Central. Spivey had five points.

Junior guard Sasha Stefanovic had nine points in the second quarter. His scoring opened up a lead for Crown Point. The Bulldogs took a 34-21 lead into the half.

Junior forward Trequan Spivey picked up the scoring in the second half. He helped Warren Central form a rally in the fourth quarter. His three pointer with 4:41 cut the Crown Point lead to 45-43.

The Warren Central defense stepped up in the fourth quarter. They did not allow Crown Point to score in the fourth quarter. Warren Central outscored Crown Point 10-0 in the fourth.

Crown Point did have its chances in the final seconds. Sasha Stefanovic had a decent look at a 3 then Blake Bonin rebounded it and had a runner to tie it. Both shots rimmed in and out.

Warren Central won 47-45.
