Lafayette Central Catholic traveled to Indianapolis to face its catholic rival, Cathedral, on Thursday evening. It was the last game of the regular season for both teams. LCC will open sectional play with Clinton Prairie. Central Catholic has won 14 straight sectionals. Cathedral will play North Central in the opener of sectional 10.
It was a game that drew the attention of Tom Crean, Matt Painter and Bradley assistant coach Drew Adams. Sophomores Romeo Langford and Musa Jallow were squaring off on Friday night. Team wise, it looked like New Albany - the #1 team in Indiana - would roll through Bloomington North. The Cougars had a different idea though and pushed New Albany to the limit.
Lapel has been the team to beat in 2A all season. The Bulldogs dropped a surprising game to Speedway on Friday. Lapel was looking to get back on track against Park Tudor on Tuesday evening. Those hopes were quickly tapered by Park Tudor.
