The Marion County Tournament tipped off Tuesday night evening with Franklin Central travelling to Beech Grove. It was poised to be a good game since both teams have been playing well this season.
Senior Jake Cerbone provided much of the Franklin Central offense early with his three-point shooting. He knocked down three from beyond the arc in the opening quarter. Chase Andries was the only offensive option for Beech Grove in the first quarter. He scored nine points.

The game was completely different in the second half. Franklin Central offense was shut down by Beech Grove’s defense.
