Per a release from the IHSAA, Indianapolis Metropolitan has self-reported violations and withdrew from the IHSAA state tournament. 

Indy Met reported that they played a student that was in violation of the age restriction bylaw. Students may not play in any games if they turn 20 years of age before the sport's state championship game. They violated a transfer rule as well. 

Indy Met placed itself on probation for the remainder of this school year as well as next year. As previously stated, they have withdrawn from the state tournament for this season as well. These sanctions were self-imposed and the IHSAA agreed with them.

Class A Sectional 58 is now a six-team sectional. That is a very good class A sectional with Indianapolis Tindley and University in the field.
