It was the
Rilee Epley show early and often for Harrison. He scored eight of the first ten points for Harrison on his way to 16 in the opening period.
Robin Duncan didn't look to score much early, but his passing was elite as usual. He passed teammates into open shots on multiple occasions. The Vermont-bound guard finished with 15 points and 13 assists.
Each time Marquette made it a single-digit game, Harrison answered back to end all hope. The lead swelled to more than 30 points before Harrison pulled the starters.
Standout Players
Rilee Epley was a machine from 15 feet to the block. He knocked down multiple mid-range jumpers off of dribble handoffs. He also finished through contact around the basket well. He finished with 29 points and eight rebounds.
Robin Duncan is known as one of the passers in the state, but he was even better than usual against Marquette. He was constantly spoon-feeding his teammates scoring opportunities. He had a steal late in the first half near the sideline. As he was going out of bounds, he flipped a behind the back pass to a streaking teammate for an easy layup.
Colin Kenney was the bright spot for Marquette in many respects. He did tally 14 of his 35 points in the fourth quarter when most of the Harrison starters were on the bench. He created most of the offense for Marquette when the game was competitive, though. He displayed the ability to get to the lane against good athletes any time that he wanted. Kenney is also nearing elite level shooting. His stroke is consistent, quick and will hit shots off the dribble.
