For the fifth year in a year, Shabaz Khaliq and North Side captured the SAC Tournament championship. Austin Boucher and Keion Brooks led the way for the Legends as they beat South Side, 90-62.

South Side started the game hot with Cortney Shorter knocking down three three-pointers in the opening minutes. North Side was put on its heels a bit early but responded well. It was a balanced effort from Brandan Johnson, Keion Brooks and Austin Boucher to give North Side the lead heading into the second quarter.

The second period was The Keion Brooks Show. He took over the game during the frame. Brooks had a one-hand hammer dunk that gave North Side an extra boost. He had collected 15 points and nine rebounds by halftime.

South Side was never able to challenge North's lead in the second half. Austin Boucher, a transfer from South Side, made sure that North Side had a comfortable lead. He scored 19 of his 27 points in the second half. Boucher finished 10 of 15 from the field. He also added 11 rebounds. He has had a fantastic senior year for North Side.

Lucas Kroft and Brandan Johnson put the final touches on the victory in the fourth quarter. Kroft finished with 15 while Johnson had 14.

Shorter and Mikale Stevenson tried to keep South Side in the game, but it was to no avail. Shorter tallied 21 points and Stevenson added 19 points.
