Tyler Watson and Robert Phinisee have been eliminated from the tournament. The other six players are still playing. (Pictured: Robert Phinisee after his freshman year)
With four possible games remaining, Romeo Langford sits at 2,900 career points. That's 234 points behind Damon Bailey. He's only 119 points away from second place. If New Albany gets through regionals, second place is realistic for Langford.
Phinisee scored 33 points in a loss to Zionsville Saturday. That pushed him over the 2,000 career point mark. He finishes 49th on the all-time list, but Damezi Anderson has a chance to pass him.
Eric Hunter has a chance to pass Rick Mount Saturday if Tindley gets to the regional final. He is 60 points behind the legend. Hunter is currently eighth on the list.
Jalen Moore is currently 13th. He'll likely pass James Blackmon Jr. against Shenandoah. He is 17 points behind JBJ right now.
Mekhi Lairy is 30th now. Bosse has a great chance of winning the Southridge Regional. If the Bullodgs do win the regional, Lairy would have a chance to get in the top 20 at semi-state.
Hayden Langkabel is now 38th on the list. His brother, Dylan Langkabel, is 39th. That has to be great for Hayden. Morristown will have major challenges in the regional. With 20 points, Langkabel would pass Dan Palomibizio.
Damezi Anderson is still working towards 2,000 career points. Riley has an excellent chance of winning the Michigan City Regional. If the Wildcats make semi-state, Anderson should be able to reach 2,000 in that game.
