Behind defense and better shooting, the 2018 Indiana All-Stars beat Kentucky, 109-81. Friday night, Kentucky took down Indiana so the annual series was a split.
Indiana used a big first half to put the game out of reach. Romeo Langford and Aaron Henry led the way early. Those two set the tone on the offensive end which pushed Indiana to an early lead. Langford finished with 22 points while Henry contributed 15.
Indiana turned 21 Kentucky turnovers into 32 points. Kentucky only scored 12 points off of Indiana turnovers. Indiana also focused on getting to the paint more than Friday night's game. Indiana scored 62 points in the paint.
After scoring 28 points Friday, Markelo Sullivan tallied 21 in the loss Saturday. He was 3-7 from three-point range Saturday.
Indiana moved the ball better Saturday compared to Friday. In the win, Indiana had 23 assists compared to 12 in the loss Friday night.
