On the other end, it was all Jake Wadding. He played in the middle against Munster's zone and feasted in the first half. Wadding scored the first six points for Chesterton.
In the second period, Balac had a steal at the half court line then converted the layup to give the Mustangs a 12-7 lead. Wadding continued to eat up the Munster zone. Of the first 13 Chesterton points, he had 10 points and an assist.

After working the ball against Munster's zone, Chesterton called a timeout with five seasons left. Out of the timeout, the Trojans went to Wadding. He drove to the lane, but Hemmelgarn was there to block his shot. The clock expired without another play.
Munster won 46-45.
