Friday night high school hoops throughout Indiana was action-packed once again. Here were some of the best performances from around the state for Friday, December 18.
Luke Saylor, Heritage 2023, had a monster game for the Patriots scoring 39 points with 11 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals in a 69-61 victory over South Adams.
JR Konieczny, St. Joe 2021, tallied 25 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in an 81-73 win over South Bend Riley.
Blake Wesley, South Bend Riley 2021, scored 38 points as the Wildcats fell short, 81-73, to St. Joe.
Fletcher Loyer, 2022, led Homestead with 30 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, steals and blocks in a 94-56 win over Bishop Luers.
Luke Goode, 2021, tallied 19 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 blocks to propel Homestead to a 94-56 win over Bishop Luers.
Brian Waddell, Carmel 2021, notched 20 points and 12 rebounds in a 56-49 win over North Central.
Leland Walker, North Central 2022, contributed 16 points and five steals, but the Panthers late comeback bid fell short in a 56-49 loss to Carmel.
Trey Kaufman, 2021, scored 23 points with 11 rebounds in his season debut as Silver Creek was victorious, 77-67, over Jeffersonville.
Branden Northern, 2022, made 9-of-10 free throws in the fourth quarter and added 21 points to help Silver Creek down Jeffersonville, 77-67.
Will Lovings-Watts, Jeffersonville 2022, had 24 points in a losing effort to Silver Creek.
Landen Folz, North Posey 2021, poured in 32 points in a 77-53 loss to Mater Dei.
Caleb Washington, Floyd Central 2023, scored a team-high 20 points and 14 rebounds as the Highlanders topped Providence, 62-40.
Sean Black, Warren Central 2021, had 19 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals to help the Warriors defeat Ben Davis, 65-51.
Tae Davis, Warren Central 2022, added 19 points and 7 rebounds in the Warriors’ winning effort over Ben Davis, 65-51.
Aaron Humphrey, 2022, paced Tindley with 22 points a close victory, 62-57, over Brebeuf Jesuit.
Tyler Myers, 2023, notched 27 points for Evansville Day, who fell short, 64-60, to North Central (Farmersburg).
Brant Wilsey, 2021, contributed 20 points in Evansville Day’s close loss to North Central (Farmersburg).
Tai McClung, 2021, led Mississinewa with 24 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Indians fell to Madison-Grant, 64-51.
Cole Richmond, Dekalb 2021, scored 31 points with 4 assists and 2 steals to lift the Barons to a 63-56 victory over Norwell.
Camden Brown, University 2021, scored 31 points (10-12 FGs) with 11 rebounds in a 64-45 win over Pendleton Heights.
Ashton Johnson, Fort Wayne South Side 2022, goes for 23 points and takes 4 charges to help the Archers top Northrop, 63-51.
Khamani Smith, Northrop 2021, totaled 21 points and 9 rebounds as the Bruins came up short, 63-51, to Fort Wayne South Side.
Aidan Lambert, Fort Wayne Snider 2022, scored 27 points with 6 rebounds in a 100-78 win over North Side.
Steele Brasfield, New Palestine 2022, scored a career-high 32 points (25 in second half) to help the Dragons to an 82-75 win over New Castle in overtime.
