Tuesday hoops throughout Indiana provided a loaded slate of games and some big-time performances. Here were some of the best individual showings from around the state for Tuesday, December 22.
Donovan McCulley, Lawrence North 2021, banked in a three-pointer from near half court with time expiring in the fourth quarter to complete the Wildcats’ 17-point comeback and force overtime. Lawrence North defeated Fishers, 65-60, to stay unbeaten.
JR Konieczny, St. Joe 2021, had 28 points in St. Joe’s 89-41 victory over Jimtown.
Blake Wesley, South Bend Riley 2021, poured in 30 points on senior night to propel Riley to a 59-47 triumph over Plymouth.
Luke Goode, Homestead 2021, scored 21 points in a 63-60 win over Warren Central and followed it up later in the day with 25 points in a 55-51 win over Brownsburg.
Pierce Thomas, Brownsburg 2021, did all he could to keep the Bulldogs afloat, scoring a game-high 29 points, but it wasn’t enough for Brownsburg to get past Homestead.
JaQualon Roberts, Bloomington North 2023, led with 18 points to help the Cougars top Perry Meridian, 67-57, in Indianapolis.
Jayden Taylor, Perry Meridian 2021, collected 33 points in a 67-57 home loss against Bloomington North.
Luke Brown, Blackford 2021, scored 33 points for the Bruins in a narrow 71-70 victory over New Albany. Brown notched his 50th game with at least 30 points in his Blackford career.
Landon Grimes, Blackford 2021, added 19 points and sank the game-winning basket with five seconds remaining as the Bruins escaped New Albany with a 71-70 win.
Travis Grayson, Chesterton 2022, had a game-high 36 points as Chesterton cruised to a 62-50 win over Hammond Morton.
Cameron Gehlhausen, Evansville North 2022, led the Huskies with 31 points as North breezed past Mater Dei, 75-53.
Javon Tracy, Decatur Central 2022, paced the Hawks with 29 pts as Decatur Central toppled Cardinal Ritter, 62-56.
Christopher Mantis, Lowell 2021, stuffed the stat sheet with 33 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists to help the Red Devils defeat Morgan Township, 69-61.
Lincoln Hale, Linton-Stockton 2021, had 25 points in Linton's 72-51 road win at South Vermillion.
Silas Bauer, Loogootee 2021, went for 26 points in a 57-51 win over Washington.
Peyton Bledsoe, Loogootee 2021, contributed 22 points in the Lions’ victory over Washington.
Jamie Hodges, Michigan City 2023, scored a team-high 27 points and sparked Michigan City’s 82-69 win over 21st Century.
Quinten Floyd, 21st Century, led all scorers with 31 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Cougars fell to Michigan City.
Drew Hogan, Goshen 2022, provided most of the RedHawks’ offense with 31 points to get past Fairfield, 56-51.
Kaleb Edwards, Guerin Catholic 2021, was a one-man wrecking crew Tuesday night, going for 36 points in the Golden Eagles’ 82-40 win over Lapel.
Caden Huttenlocker, Edgewood 2022, poured in 29 points to help the Mustangs top Cloverdale, 73-59.
Brenden Lytle, Bishop Dwenger 2021, scored a team-high 27 points, though it wasn’t enough as Dwenger lost 61-54 to South Bend Adams.
Ryan Conwell, Pike 2022, went for 26 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists to lead Pike to a 75-65 win over Franklin Central.
Cam Haffner, Westfield 2022, scored 19 points in Westfield's 81-38 win against Pendleton Heights.
Lane Sparks, Greensburg 2021, filled the stat sheet for 37 points, six assists, and six steals in Greensburg's 85-41 win over North Decatur.
Logan Pinkerton, Covington 2021, tallied 23 points and six rebounds in Covington's 41-31 victory against Western Boone.
