Over 140 Indiana high school basketball games took place Friday night, and they didn’t disappoint giving us a plethora of major performances. Here were some of the best individual showings from around the state for Friday, Jan. 15.

D.J. Hughes, Lawrence North 2021, contributed a team-high 19 points and 7 rebounds to power the Wildcats in a 64-62 overtime win over Pike.
Ryan Conwell, Pike 2022, led all scorers with 30 points, but it still wasn’t enough to take down Lawrence North in overtime.
Joey Bomba, Bloomington South 2021, had a career night with 38 points, 10 three-pointers and 4 blocks as Bloomington South cruised past Columbus East, 80-53.
Braden Smith, Westfield 2022,bounced back with 25 points to lead Westfield over Hamilton Southeastern, 77-68.
Gus Etchison, Hamilton Heights 2021, kept his monster season going with 40 pts in the Huskies’ 84-75 win at Lapel.
JR Konieczny, St. Joseph 2021, chipped in another 30 point effort as St. Joe’s glided past John Glenn with a 66-51 win.
Fletcher Loyer, Homestead 2022, led the Spartans with 30 points to breeze past Snider in a 90-72 victory.
Aidan Lambert, Fort Wayne Snider 2022, did all he could providing a team-high 24 points, but it wasn’t enough in a 90-72 defeat against Homestead.
Owen Dease, Evansville Reitz 2021, tallied 38 points, 11 free-throw makes, 7 three-pointers and 9 rebounds to lift Reitz over Evansville North, 75-70.
Ryan Caddell, Evansville North 2021, had a team-high 25 points despite falling to Evansville Reitz.
Colson Montgomery, Southridge 2021, poured in 30 points for the Raiders in a 66-51 trouncing of Mount Vernon.
Blake Wesley, South Bend Riley 2021, scored a season-high 41 points as Riley blew out New Prairie, 81-55.
Kaleb Edwards, Guerin Catholic 2021, powered his team with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 3 blocks, but Guerin Catholic still fell to Covenant Christian, 61-55.
Mason Brooks, North Putnam 2021, cashed in 5 three-pointers to go with 30 points and 11 rebounds as North Putnam took down rival Greencastle, 61-51.
DJ Moss, 21st Century 2023, and Quintin Floyd, 2023, each had a double-double with 20 and 19 points, respectively, in 21st Century’s win over Indianapolis HomeSchool.
Ben Henderson, Harrison 2023, and Jonah Lucas, 2022, led the way with 21 and 20 points, respectively, as Harrison topped Kokomo 75-62.
Markus Burton, Penn 2023, earned a double-double with 20 points and 10 assists in Penn's 87-36 win over. Jimtown.
Braeden Shrewsberry, West Lafayette 2023, provided all the scoring necessary with 31 points to help the Red Devils edge Rensselaer, 53-47. Divine Adeyanju, 2023, pulled down 15 rebounds for the Red Devils.
Hagen Knepp, Barr-Reeve 2022, and Curt Hopf, 2021, paced their team with 21 and 20 points, respectively, to narrowly push Barr-Reeve over Loogootee, 67-64.
Peyton Bledsoe, Loogootee 2021, had a game-high 24 points, though the Lions fell to Barr-Reeve in a tight battle.
Riley Ferguson, Parke Heritage 2021, led the way with 27 points in Parke Heritage’s 62-48 win at Covington.
Matt Gauer, Terre Haute North 2021, recorded 21 points in Terre Haute North’s triumph over Terre Haute South.
Lincoln Hale, Linton-Stockton 2021, scored in double-figures again, this time notching 24 points to propel Linton-Stockton over Bloomfield, 62-53.
Travis Grayson, Chesterton 2022, got it done on both ends finishing with 24 points and five steals to lead the Trojans to a 51-35 victory over La Porte.
Jalen Jackson, Carroll 2022, had 23 points in the Chargers’ 64-53 overtime win over Bishop Luers.
Naylon Thompson, Bishop Luers 2021 , scored a game-high 29 points in an overtime loss to Carroll.
Isaac Vencel, Bloomington North 2021, had 24 points as the Cougars manhandled Martinsville, 86-36.
Mario Reed, Northwestern 2023, collected 28 points in a 60-54 loss to Tipton.
