Monday, the IHSAA announced that the 2021 boys basketball state finals will be moved to April 3, 2021.

The 111th IHSAA boys basketball tournament will stay on schedule for the first three rounds before an extra week break between the semi-state and state final games. The move was made to avoid a conflict with the NCAA Tournament being played excusively in Indianapolis.

The sectional round will begin as schedule on March 2-6. The regional events will be March 13, and the semi-state games will be played March 20. Teams advancing to the state finals will have a 13-day layoff until April 3.
