Seniors handle Juniors in 2021 Indiana All-Star game

Blake Wesley (Notre Dame), Caleb Furst (Purdue), and Trey Kaufman-Renn (Purdue) led the Indiana All-Star team over the Junior team on Wednesday night at Brownsburg 127-106.
2021 Mr. Basketball Caleb Furst tallied 22 points and 12 rebounds in the Indiana All-Star win. The Blackhawk Christian product also added five assists and two blocks. Notre Dame-bound guard Blake Wesley recorded 24 points on 10-16 shooting. Wesley is a dynamic athlete, and the junior team did not have an answer for him. Kaufman-Renn tallied half of the seniors' free throw attempts on his way to 22 points and nine rebounds. Jalen Blackmon (Grand Canyon) went 5-7 from deep to score 17 points.
The seniors recorded 33 assists on 52 field goals. Luke Brown tallied six, then Shamar Avance and Furst each had five. The juniors tallied 17.
Leland Walker (24 points) and Jalen Jackson (20 points) went a combined 16-20 from the field, but it was not enough for the juniors. Walker went 4-6 from the outside.
Purdue-bound guard Fletcher Loyer added 17 points in the loss.
The 2021 Indiana All-Stars will face Kentucky on Friday and Saturday. The Friday game is in Owensboro, Kentucky, while the Saturday game is at Southport High School.
