On Saturday night, Cathedral (25-6) challenges Chesterton’s undefeated season in the 2022 IHSAA 4A state championship.

Overview

Cathedral went through a gauntlet to reach the state final. The Irish won Sectional 10 by defeating North Central, Arsenal Tech, and Lawrence North. Those are three talented and tough teams with hopes of deep tournament runs all season. Unfortunately for the Irish, the path did not get easier. Cathedral defeated Terre Haute North and Ben Davis in the regional before holding off Bloomington North in the semi-state round.
