(Trent Sisley after a game during his freshman year)
Indiana's 2025 basketball class is loaded. There were dozens of freshmen making a varsity impact at a high level this season. The
Indiana Basketball Source All-Freshman teams were selected based on production, efficiency, competition level, and team success. Long-term potential did not factor into the selections of the five teams.
Heritage Hills forward Trent Sisley leads the group after a tremendous rookie campaign. He averaged a ridiculous 19.9 points and 9.2 rebounds while showing an inside-outside game as a freshman. Sisley also thrived in the open court after playing the passing lanes. He entered high school with sky-high expectations and over-delivered in his freshman season.
Joining Sisley is Fishers guard Jalen Haralson. Sisley and Haralson will likely be mentioned together for the next three years and probably longer. Haralson averaged 16.0 points per game, with a high of 43 points against Carroll of
Fort Wayne. Haralson played for a top 4A team and had veteran players around him at Fishers. Still, Haralson showed his potential while producing consistently.
Crispus Attucks center Dezmon Briscoe did not score as much as his counterparts, but the
Indianapolis product rebounded and blocked shots highly proficiently. He changed games with his timing and length around the basket. As his offensive game sharpens, Briscoe will be a player to watch in a deep 2025 class.
Chase Konieczny entered South Bend St. Joe when his brother, J.R., left for
Notre Dame. Chase turned heads with his freshman season - 15.3 points and 7.3 rebounds. It will be difficult to escape his brother's shadow, but Chase is well on his way.
Rounding out the first team is Greenfield-Central's Braylon Mullins. He scored 11.2 points per contest while being highly efficient from the field. With his size and shooting ability, Mullins caught the eye of college coaches and observers around the state. Mullins and junior Dylan Moles led Greenfield-Central to a great season before bowing out to Anderson in the sectional.
The overall depth of
Indiana's 2025 class is outstanding. The state has not had the quantity and quality of this class in a while. Many high-potential players did not produce enough to gain a spot on these teams but will be fixtures around
Indiana high school basketball and recruiting circles in years to come.
Here are all five teams (five players each) selected by
Indiana Basketball Source.
