In a less than shocking move, Marquis Teague, Pike High School in Indianapolis, committed to the University of Kentucky Thursday. Teague's final three were Kentucky, Louisville, and Cincinnati. With Kentucky turning out NBA point guards every year, I don't see this move surprising at all. A couple of things were working in Louisville's favor but weren't enough in the end. Teague's father played for Pitino at Boston University. Maybe even a bigger surprise is the fact that John Calipari has never been to one of his games. That is amazing especially in the era. Overall, it is a good fit for Teague and Kentucky so hopefully it works out for him.
