The players within the teams are not listed in any particular order.
Alabama Challenge
#2 Devin Booker, 6'5” SG Moss Pont HS (MS) 2014, came out on fire against Spiece Indy Heat and it looked like Spiece was going to be in for a long day. He scored 7 points in the first 4 minutes of the game but he only ended up with 12 points. He has a good first step. He handles the ball well. He has good elevation on his jump shot. Booker's shot is extremely smooth. High-Major/High-Major Stretch
#23 William Lee, 6'9” PF Dallas County HS (AL) 2014, wiry build. Lee is a fantastic leaper. He has a nice looking shot in the mid-range. He had a shot fake, 1-dribble pull-up in the mid-range. Lee definitely has the physical tools to be a high-major player but his production is not there quite yet.
#15 Demetrius Houston, 6'7” SF Carver HS (AL) 2014, explosive leaper, good frame. Decent mid-range touch but very limited offensively right now.
#20 Jeffrey Garrett, 6'6” SF Gadsden City HS (AL) 2014, not a good looking shot. Good length, medium to thin build.
#44 Issac Hass, 7'2” C Hokes Buff HS (AL) 2014, massive human being. Hass did not play very much this weekend though.
BABC (MD)
#14 Terance Mann, 6'5” SG Tilton School (MA) 2015, leaper, good form on shot. He was not looking to attack slower defenders. He did rebound decently and had a few assists against Team Final so he can do a few different things.
#35 Bonzie Colson Jr., 6'5” F St. Andrew School (MA) 2014, undersized post but he was very productive. He plays much larger than his 6'5 frame. He does jump pretty well. He has good length. He went to the left shoulder pretty much every time. Low-Major Plus
#1 Johnathan Joesph, 5'9” PG Tilton School (MA) 2015, quick. He does a good job of distributing. He has a good feel for the game. He also has a good stroke from the outside. Low-Major Plus/Mid-Major
#2 Tyler Nelson, 6'0” G Central Catholic (MA) 2014, shooter. He will shot fake to get into the lane. He struggled to shoot it against Team Final but each shot was online. Low-Major
Boo Williams
#44 Thon Maker, 7'0” F Carlisle HS (VA) 2016, FREAK athlete. True 7-footer that moves like a wing. Plus he is only a freshman. He runs the floor exceptionally well. He has great hands. He did a euro step on the fast break and looked good doing it. I do not think I have seen a player as big as him move like he does. He's just not an athlete either. He has skills to go along with his athleticism and size. High-Major
#22 Dwayne Foreman, 6'8” F Massanuttan HS (VA) 2014, LEFY. Foreman had a nice baseline drive to his right that he then finished with his left hand. He handles it well for his size. Great build. Ugly shooting form.
#20 Robert Johnson, 6'2” SG Benedictine HS (VA) 2014, shooter that struggled to shoot it well when I saw him on Saturday. He was more aggressive in the 2nd half after his shot was not falling though. He is a solid athlete that can put the ball on the floor a little bit.
California Supreme
#5 Julian Richardson, 6'3” SG El Comino HS (CA) 2014, shooter that lit up Spiece in the first half from the outside. He was not real explosive but he was pretty crafty off the dribble. It seemed like he was out of shape. He was winded at the end of the first half and did not have a very effective second half. Mid-Major type of talent.
#21 Payton Dastrup, 6'8” PF Mesa Mountain View HS (CA) 2014, like Richardson, Dastrup had a very good first half but then was quite/ineffective in the second half. Dastrup showed the ability to use either hand around the basket. He also had good footwork on the perimeter. He had a nice jab-step then raised up and hit a 17-footer over a defender. He did not have much lift off the floor. He missed one open 2-handed dunk and also had a dunk attempt blocked. Low-Major to Mid-Major prospect.
#24 Zylan Cheatem, 6'7” SF Westwind Prep (CA) 2014, strong build and an explosive athlete. He padded his stats late in the blow-out. He was really a non-factor when the game was still undecided. There are not many better athletes than Cheatem though. His overall production was limited though. Low-Major Plus
CP3 All-Stars
#1 Theo Pinson, 6'6” SF Wesleyan Christian (NC) 2014, recent North Carolina commit. Long and athletic, Pinson can really get off the floor. He also has the ability to be a great defender. He saw the floor well in transition. He jumps forward about 3 or 4 feet on his jump shot. That is one of the reasons that he is not a consistent shooter from the outside. High-Major
#11 Gary Clark, 6'7” SF Clayton HS (NC) 2014, great length and athleticism. He had an unbelievable dunk over a defender in transition. His shot did not look terrible but most of his production was right at the rim. Mid-Major to Mid-Major Plus
#0 LJ Peak, 6'5” SF Gaffney, SC 2014, great frame/build, super athlete. Chases down offensive rebounds. He is best in transition. Peak is not very efficient in the half court. He can handle it a little bit. I did not see a ton of production out of Peak this weekend. Mid-Major
#14 Shelton Mitchell, 6'3” PG Cuthbertson HS (NC) 2014, lefty with good quicks. He took some bad shots. He hasn't knocked down many shots.
Expressions Elite (MA)
#0 Abdul Malik Abu, 6'7” F Expressions Elite/Kimball Union (MA) 2014, strong but not bulky or stocky. He is a fantastic athlete. He runs and jumps extremely well. He was active on the glass. His shot looked good. He had a very nice turnaround fade-away from the post. His athleticism and skill set were high-level all the way. High-Major
#33 Alec Brennan, 6'10” PF Milton Academy (MA) 2014, thin build. He did not look like a great athlete. He had a nice lefty half hook. He was mostly around the basket on the offensive end. He was pushed around pretty easily because of his build.
#35 Aaron Falzon, 6'8” F Northfield Mount Hermon (MA) 2015, shooter with length. Flazon is not an explosive athlete.
#3 Jared Wilson Frame, 6'5” SG Windsor HS (CT) 2015, strong, stocky guard who is physically mature. He did some good things against Meanstreets but I did not get a great feel for his game.
Georgia Stars (GA)
#12 Tadric Jackson, 6'1” G Georgia Stars/Tift County HS (GA), stocky, strong, explosive guard. He had a couple of dunks in the half court where he dunked over multiple defenders. The 6-1 that I have listed him at might be generous. He also can shoot it from deep. I do not remember him being much of a playmaker though. He was very impressive.
#42 Noah Dickerson, 6'8” PF North Atlanta HS (GA) 2015, really strong build. He missed a couple of dunks off the drop step against the Texas Titans. He is not overly skilled right now but has physical tools to work with.
#5 Justin Coleman, 5'10” PG Wenonah HS (AL) 2014, slight build. Shoot first type of point guard. He has solid quickness but not elite quicks.
#22 Eric Lockett, 6'5” SF Whitefiled Academy (GA) 2014, great frame/build. Lockett is a very good/explosive athlete. He did not showcase a great skill set.
Howard Pulley (MN)
#5 Tyus Jones, 6'0” PG Apple Valley HS (MN) 2014, playing in front of huge hometown crowds, Tyus Jones did not disappoint. He is ultra skilled. He handles the ball extremely well. He has great feel. He never puts himself or teammates in bad spots. Jones has the ability to finish in the lane with either hand. When he probes the defense he is not just looking for his own shots, he is doing it to create opportunities for teammates. Jones also does a GREAT job of finding shooters when he draws help. He's a good athlete but not a guy that needs to be at the rim to finish. I love the pace that he plays the game. He's the most impressive overall player I have seen this spring. High-Major Plus
#32 Reid Travis, 6'7” PF Delasalle HS (MN) 2014, strong, great frame. He really fights on the glass. He is a power dunk any time that he catches the ball around the basket. He can attack off the dribble with 2 or 3 dribbles. He did not show the ability to shoot from the perimeter. Mid-Major Plus to High-Major
#22 Jake Wright, 6'4” SG Hopkins HS (MN) 2014, shooter off of the catch. He will shot fake to open up driving lanes. He finished one shot fake and drive with a floater. He also had a cut in the halfcourt that led to a basket. Low-Major
ICP Elite (CA)
#1 Daniel Hamilton 6'6” SG St. John Bosco (CA) 2015, quick leaper. He is very good in transition. He showed the ability to finish below the rim and to make good passes when leading the break. His shot does not look consistent right now but he shot it pretty well against Howard Pulley. He is NOT real explosive but he is long and he is usually under control when he drives. Mid-Major to High-Major
#3 Silas Melson, 6'2” SG Jefferson HS (OR) 2014, shooter. He finished well in transition. He is a below the rim finisher in traffic. He can put the ball on the floor a little bit. He has a really nice release on his shot. He has a pretty strong build as well. Mid-Major
#11 Kamron Chatam, 6'7” SF Long Beach Poly 2014, LEFTY. He has a thin/athletic type of build. He is a solid athlete. He showed nice touch on his mid-range jumper. He has good rotation on his shot.
#5 Greyson Smallwood, 6'10” C Jefferson HS (OR) 2015, very thin and extremely long. He does not look for or embrace contact at this point. He showed decent hands against Howard Pulley. He is definitely a work in-progress right now.
#12 Arkaiy Mkrtychyan, 6'6” PF Columbia Christian (WA) 2014, undersized post with a medium build. He rebounded extremely well for his size against Howard Pulley. He did not show much offensively as he rarely looked at the basket.
Indy Heat (IN)
#3 James Blackmon Jr., 6'2” SG Spiece Indy Heat/Marion HS (IN) 2014, had a fantastic weekend shooting the ball. He shot 23-45 from 3 in the 5 games this weekend. He really scored the ball at a high-level. When he shot 3-9 from 3 against the St. Louis Eagles, he went inside to get things going. He finished with 29 points in that game. His ball-handling and passing definitely need to improve greatly. He is nowhere close to being a high-major point guard right now. Blackmon is one of the best shooters in the country though. Indiana University commit.
#2 Trevon Bluiett, 6'6” SF Spiece Indy Heat/Park Tudor (IN) 2014, seemed to be “off” in his shooting terms. He “only” shot 41% from 3 in the 5 games this weekend. He was a force though. He is really using his body well. Bluiett definitely is not afraid to post up defenders and be extremely physical. It sounds like Butler and Michigan lead for his services although he claims he is still open. High-Major
#41 Trey Lyles, 6'9” F Arsenal Tech HS 2014, did not have a monster scoring game like Bluiett and Blackmon but he still showed flashes of an elite prospect. He made a couple of fantastic post moves. He also made a couple of really nice passes to teammates for wide-open lay-ups. He was out with a knee injury in March and April. He has shown no ill-effects with his knee but he is still working back into shape. High-Major
#11 Justin Mitchell, 6'4” PG Wayne HS 2014, has really impressed me with his play Friday night and at the Spiece Run N Slam a few weeks ago. He is an athletic/explosive point guard. He plays his role really well for a team full of scorers. He is very active defensively. Mitchell is constantly pressuring the ball and in the passing lanes. He is not quite an elite defender right now but he is very, very good on the defensive end. He has a very good first step on the offensive end. He has great size for a point guard. His shooting ability is questionable. Low-Major Plus/Mid-Major Stretch.
#31 Caleb Swanigan, 6'8” C/PF Homestead HS 2016, does not have to score very much on the Spiece Indy Heat but he rebounds at a high level. He is not a great leaper but he uses his wide body to create space for rebounds. He is also using his body really well in the post. Swanigan's footwork in the post is really good for a sophomore-to-be. He will have to keep his weight under control to end up being a high-major player. I expect him to grow more and end up around 6-10. High-Major
#50 Steve McElvene, 6'11” C New Haven HS but transferring to Fort Wayne Wayne HS 2014, was fantastic all weekend on the defensive and on the glass. He has great, great length. He has really good hands. He struggles to defend away from the basket. He has some extra weight on him that if he loses might help him move better. I do NOT see high-major in McElvene's near future but he could be good at the mid-major level down the road.
#33 Jonathan Wilkins, 6'10” C La Lumiere School 2014, was very quiet in Minneapolis. He has been known as a shot blocker and a rebounder. He did not rebound at a high-level this weekend. He did have some nice blocks on the defensive end. He is very thin. His offensive game is extremely limited. I love the way he can move laterally on the defensive end but that is his greatest attribute right now. I have not seen much growth in his game over the last year. He has some high-major offers but I see him as a Mid-Major prospect.
Mac Irvin Fire (IL)
#34 Cliff Alexander, 6'9” PF Curie HS (IL) 2014, started off the game against Seattle Rotary like his shorts were on fire. He had a good portion of his team-high 30 points within the first 6 minutes of the game. He slowed down after but he was impressive throughout. He did fall in love with the outside shot after he made one in the first half. His wingspan plus strength make him an unbelievable force. His skill set needs to continue to develop. Alexander has relied on his athleticism to dominated his opponents in the past. High-Major
#1 Jalen Brunson, 6'1” PG Stevenson (IL) 2015, lefty who can elevate explosively. He tried to put a kid through the rim on the break. He can really shoot it from the outside. He has very good form on his shot. He is quick off the dribble and can find people off the dribble. Brunson showed a lot of toughness against Seattle Rotary. He finished with 18 points and 9 assists. He is another kid that is playing up in EYBL. High-Major
#21 Josh Cunningham, 6'7” F Morgan Park HS (IL) 2014, thin build but an explosive leaper, quick leaper. He played around the basket during the high school year and he is still really productive around the rim but he is also showing more of a perimeter game this spring. His shot looks really good from beyond the arc. He did not put the ball on the floor and get to the basket this weekend but he scored mostly in transition, off of offensive rebounds and off the catch shooting on the perimeter. Mid-Major Plus/High-Major
#32 Pat McCaw, 6'6” SF Christian Brothers (MO) 2014, similar to Cunningham in terms of athleticism and build. McCaw is a little shorter and more perimeter oriented. He has the ability to break defenders down with the dribble. His outside shot looked decent. Mid-Major
#5 Miles Reynolds, 6'4” SG Whitney Young (IL) 2014, good length but thin. He is quick off the dribble. He is not afraid of being physical. He shoots it well from the outside. Mid-Major
#23 Lamont Walker, 6'6” SF Morgan Park (IL) 2014, good athlete. He is quick for a forward. He hit a 3 off the dribble. Walker is best on the offensive glass using his athleticism to get tip-ins. Low-Major Plus/Mid-Major
Meanstreets (IL)
#3 Tyler Ulis, 5'8” Marian Catholic HS (IL) 2014, suffered a shoulder injury towards the end of the first half. He was definitely bothered by the shoulder. He gutted it out though and played pretty well. Ulis ended up sitting out Sunday night and Monday. High-Major
#1 Charles Matthews, 6'4” SG St. Rita HS (IL) 2015, good length, good build. He had a very nice game against Team Scan. He can really elevate. He consistently got to the lane off the drive. He tried to step his offensive game up with Ulis out, but he really struggled in doing so when he went 2-16 from the field against Expressions Elite. He did rebound on Monday morning and went 7-9 from the field. I like his physical tools. Mid-Major Plus
#23 Donte Thomas, 6'6” F Thornwood HS (IL) 2014, combo forward describes Thomas pretty well. He moves well enough laterally and has the frame/build of a small forward. But he rebounds and scores like a power forward. He is not always smooth, but he finds a way to get the ball in the basket. He does NOT handle the ball very well with his weak (left) hand. He knocked down some outside shots on Sunday. That is something that I had not seen Thomas in the past. Low-Major Plus/Mid-Major Stretch
#33 Tyler Wideman, 6'7” PF Lake Central HS (IN) 2014, big, strong and in better shape than he has been in the past. He was more active against Team Scan than he was against Team Takeover. He rebounded decently well. He struggled to finish at the basket. He has no left hand. He has very limited lift off the ground. He does not have a great skill set. Combine his skills and lack of athleticism, he has a lot of work to do in order to be a good Mid-Major player.
#2 Tye Wilburn, 6'0” PG Lake Central HS (IN) 2014, strong, good size for a point guard. He played well defensively against Team Scan. He does not shoot the ball well. He struggles to find ways to score. He makes a lot of bad passes. Low-Major Stretch
#15 Justin Taylor, 6'5” SF Thornton HS (IL) 2014, did not play much at all against Team Scan after playing well against Team Takeover. He only played 17 minutes against City Rocks but scored 13 points. He has no offers right now but said he has heard from Northern Michigan, UIC, North Dakota. Last night he played like a low-major prospect with his shooting ability and he rebounded.
#21 Cole Teal, 6'3” SG Chesterton HS (IN) 2014, had a monster 20 point game on Friday night and 16 points on Monday, but could not hit shots on Saturday against Team Scan. He did battle for rebounds and also tried to take a few charges. He played more minutes this weekend and he responded well. I'd like him to do a little bit more off the dribble going to the basket but he shoots it well and can get it off quickly. Low-Major.
#34 Tai Odiase, 6'8” PF Homewood-Flossmor HS (IL) 2014, fantastic athlete. His offensive game is limited right now but he jumps out of the gym. He plays hard. He has the tools to be successful at the next level (mid-major), it will be up to him to develop his skills to get to that level.
MoKan Elite
#6 Lourawls Nairn Jr., 5'10” PG Sunrise Christian Academy (KS) 2014, ELITE speed and quickness with the ball. He gets into the lane and looks to pass because of his size. He seems nearly unstoppable getting to the lane. I didn't see him change pace but his one pace is good enough to blow by great athletes. High-Major
New Jersey Playaz
#11 Isaiah Briscoe, 6'2” SG St. Benedict (NJ) 2015, stocky guard. He is physically mature. He is a good shooter from the outside that does not need space to get his shot off. He can also put it on the floor but he is not going to beat good athletes to the hoop very often.
#32 Elijah Cain, 6'5” SG Medford Tech (NJ) 2015, good size for a shooting guard. He is patient with the ball. He looks to attach every touch.
Oakland Soldiers (CA)
#23 Dorian Pickens, 6'5” SG Pinnacle HS (AZ) 2014, strong build. Smooth outside shot. He did force a few shots against Spiece. Pickens has good quickness off the dribble. Low-Major Plus/Mid-Major Stretch range.
#43 Chimezie Metu, 6'9” C Lawndale HS (CA) 2015, medium build. Solid athlete. He was a non-factor against Spiece. He did not show great hands.
#21 Gabe Vincent, 6'1” SG St. Mary's Stockton HS (CA) 2014, catch and shoot looks great. He played off the ball for the Oakland Soldiers. He's a little undersized for a shooting guard.
Seattle Rotary (WA)
Naim Ladd, 5'7” PG Rainier Beach HS (WA) 2014, I did not think I would see a player under 5-8 dominate a game this weekend. Ladd did exactly that against the tall and athletic Mac Irvin Fire squad. He had 23 points but also had 8 rebounds at a generous 5-7. His height did play a factor in his 6 turnovers though. It was really entertaining watching Ladd get major production from his stature.
Southern Stampede (GA)
#12 Ahmed Hill, 6'5” Aquinas HS (GA) 2014, good frame. Hill is very athletic. He handles the ball well. He sees the floor like a point guard. He has a nice follow through and release on his outside shot. He takes contact well going to the basket. He can transition easily to the point guard position even though he can score. High-Major
#21 Jalen Lindsey, 6'7” PF Christ Presbyterian (TN) 2014, super long and a good leaper. He padded his stats against Mac Irvin Fire late in the game. He did rebound decently. His shot looks good. He was just out played by the forwards and bigs of Mac Irvin Fire. Mid-Major Plus
#32 Cedric Turnman, 6'9” PF Morgan County HS (GA) 2014, fantastic build. He jumps out of the gym. His skills are not to the level to do well against big time players right now. Mid-Major
#00 Jordan Session, 6'7” SF Eagles Landing (GA) 2014, thin, long, good leaper. He was limited in his production against Mac Irivin Fire.
St. Louis Eagles (MO)
#12 Jordan Barnett, 6'7” SF CBC (MO) 2014, good length, good leaper. He rebounds well. He is smooth going to the basket although he often failed to finish at the basket. Consistency is lacking to Barnett's game. He shows flashes of being great but does not consistently play like that. Mid-Major Plus
#42 Ikenna Okwarabize, 6'8” PF St. Louis Christian (MO) 2014, really strong. He is a good athlete. He showed a good touch around the rim and out to about 6 or 8 feet. Overall he did not produce a ton. Mid-Major
#3 Chaz Glotta, 6'1” PG Ft. Zumwalt North (Mo) 2014, lefty. Shooter. Glotta is pretty strong with decent quickness. He hit some big shots from the outside against Spiece. Low-Major Plus
#5 Larry Austin Jr., 6'1” PG Lanphier HS (IL) 2014, strong with good size for a point guard. I did not get a great feel for his skills or major weaknesses.
Team Final (PA)
#23 Malachi Richardson, 6'5” SG Rosell Catholic HS (NJ) 2015, great length. He moves well laterally on the defensively. He does a little bit of everything. He rebounded, handled it, and shot it well. He has good rotation/follow through on his shot. High-Major
#20 JaQuan Newton, 6'2” SG Neumann-Goretti (PA) 2014, good athlete. He shot it every time that he touched it on Monday against BABC. He took a lot of poor shots with poor results. He also spent a lot of time complaining to refs. Low-Major Plus
#32 Eric Carter, 6'9” C Jackson Memorial HS (NJ) 2014, really long, strong and can jump a little bit. He seems a little stiff around from the basket. He had a nice right half hook. Mid-Major
#21 Tony Toplyn, 6'5” SF Neumann-Goretti (PA) 2014, lefty, very good athlete, solid frame/build. He has the lateral movement to be a small forward although he mostly played around the rim. He cleaned up the offensive glass. He finishes at a high-level. Mid-Major
#25 Mikal Bridges, 6'7” SF Great Valley (PA) 2014, great length, wiry, looks physically young. He did a good job on the glass. Mid-Major
#3 Shep Garner, 6'2” G Roman Catholic (PA) 2014, slashed well from the perimeter. He fnished over defenders at a very good high-level. Mid-Major
Team Scan
#13 Cheick Diallo, 6'9” PF Our Savior New American HS (NY) 2015, really good build and frame. He has PLUS length. He was not extremely productive against Meanstreets. He gave up on a play late in the game with his team down 5. Physically, he has a lot of ability but he did not display much of a skill set.
#3 Terry Larrier, 6'7” SF Phelps School (NY) 2014, long and thin. He looks like a good athlete that moves well on the perimeter. He has a good release on his shot but did not knock down many shots against Meanstreets.
#1 Conrad Chambers, 6'0: PG Chester HS (PA) 2014, strong build. Chambers is mainly an outside shooter. He did not look to go to the basket much against Meanstreets.
Team Texas Elite
#3 Matt Mcquaid, 6'5” SG Duncanville HS (Texas) 2015, was the player of the night during day 1. He scored 28 points in Team Texas' win over Wisconsin Playground including a clutch 3 with just seconds remaining. He struggled in the rest of the games this weekend. Mcquaid is a pure shooter and his shot always looked good but the ball did not go in the hoop for Mcquaid on Saturday and Sunday. He is not just a shooter though. He actively tries to get into the lane with shot fakes and ball fakes. He also showed the ability to move well without the ball. Mcquaid has a quick and consistent release. He buried shot after shot from beyond the arc down the stretch for Team Texas. He reports scholarship offers from Texas A&M, San Francisco, Boise State and Rhode Island. Mid-Major Plus/High-Major
#15 Elijah Thomas, 6'9” C Prime Prep Academy (Texas) 2015, massive upper body with very wide shoulders. He is a righty but went to the left hand in the post all night. He gets great position in the post but he struggled to get shots to go down tonight. Thomas showed the ability to pass the ball out of the post and on the perimeter. He said after the game that he hears the comparison to Zach Randolph frequently and he likes it. Both are below the rim finishers with a little extra meat on their bones but Thomas did not get Zach Randolph production this weekend. Thomas also displayed a poor attitude/body language on the court. He complained about calls and did not take coaching well. He was very nice to talk to in person though. High-Major
#21 TJ Maston, 6'7” PF Desoto HS (Texas) 2014, is a guy that competed his butt off on the boards. He was very physical about getting position for rebounds. He showed a limited offensive game but did not try to do too much either. He can do a little bit away from the basket shooting the ball but his consistency was not there this weekend. Maston was not always above the rim for rebounds but he did meet Rashad Vaughn at the rim to block a dunk attempt. He did report offers from Boise State, Houston and SMU. Mid-Major
#1 Austin Grandstaff, 6'5” SG Rockwall HS (TX) 2015, decent build. He's slightly below average in terms of athleticism in the EYBL. He struggled on Friday night but had a huge game on Sunday against the New Jersey Playaz. His release is a little slow from the outside. He is crafty with the dribble and has a variety of floaters. Mid-Major
#12 Keenan Evans, 6'3” G Berkner HS (TX) 2014, did not have a big weekend in terms of production but I liked his tools. He has a good build. He's a good athlete. He's quick and plays within himself. He also looks like he can shoot it a little bit from the outside. Low-Major Plus
Texas Titans
#44 Tyler Davis, 6'10” C Texas Titans/Frisco Liberty HS (TX) 2015, is listed at 290 and he is all of that. He is thick and strong. He sweats at a Patrick Ewing rate. He is definitely a worker though. He battles in the post every possession. He has GREAT hands. He can put the ball on the floor. He can finish with either hand. Davis stood out in a major way and he is playing up a year! High-Major
#8 DJ Hogg, 6'7” SG Plano West HS (TX) 2015, long and thin. He's not a great athlete but has some quickness to him though. He is known as an elite shooter but he did not hit shots in the 2 games that I watched him this weekend. He also did not even get that many looks because he was passive on the offensive end. He did not move without the ball. Hogg did not get to the basket off the dribble either. As a really good shooter, I would like to see him constantly moving and hunting for shots. He did not do that.
#13 Alex Robinson, 6'0” PG Mansfield Tiberview HS (TX) 2014, lefty. Robinson is quick off the dribble. He scores well at the basket. He can also shoot it a little bit from the outside. He creates off the dribble for his teammates. He made the Texas Titans go. Robinson did struggle to defend Tadric Jackson in front of him but Jackson is an elite athlete. Mid-Major
#12 Djery Jean Baptiste, 6'11” C Willow Bend Academy (TX) 2015, unbelievable build for a junior-to-be. He is built like a college player in the upper body. He rebounds and blocks shots. He did not get much production on the offensive end. Mid-Major Plus
#32 Jackson Forbes, 6'5” SG John Paul II HS (TX) 2014, great, great build. He is a good athlete. He can put the ball on the floor. His shooting form is very good. He showed off a floater in the lane. Forbes physically looks like a high-major player but his production did not match that projection. Mid-Major Plus
#6 Avery Johnson Jr., 5'11” PG John Cooper School (TX) 2014, the son of former NBA player/coach Avery Johnson. He did not play major minutes but he had a positive contribution when he did play. He is feisty on the defensive end. He scored well around the basket. Low-Major Plus
The Family (MI)
#1 Edmond Sumner, 6'4” SG Detroit Country Day (MI) 2014, recent Xavier commit. Fantastic length although he is a little thin. He got to the lane easily vs. a very good defender in Justin Mitchell. His outside shot looks inconsistent.
#33 Dahron Scott, 6'9” PF Grand Rapids Christian (MI) 2014, did not have much production. He is currently debating if he wants to play football or basketball in college. He does not have any current offers in football but does have a handful of basketball offers. Low-Major to Mid-Major prospect.
Wisconsin Playground Elite (WI)
#20 Rashad Vaughn, 6'4” SG Cooper HS (MN) 2014, explosive athlete with a good build. Vaughn is rated as the #6 player in the country by Rivals.com. He did not perform like a top 10 player in the few games that I watched him this weekend. He took a lot of forced/bad shots that had no chance of going in. He did not get easy looks in the half court and even failed to finish a couple of plays in transition. There's little doubt that he is a very good player but he struggled this weekend. High-Major
#3 Jerrelle DeBerry, 6'4” SG Destiny HS (WI) 2014, power guard that finished plays at the rim through contact consistently against Team Texas. He recently committed to Wisconsin-Green Bay. His outside shot also looked decent but he was primarily around the basket. He was a big factor for Wisconsin. His level of perimeter skills will determine his college level. He looked like a Low-Major Plus prospect tonight but he could be higher.
#1 Sandy Cohen, 6'5” PG Seymour HS (WI) 2014, long and thin build. He was pretty passive against Team Texas. He's not real explosive but he uses his length well. He has struggled a little bit this year in EYBL play. Mid-Major Stretch
#23 TyQuone Greer, 6'5” SF Chicago Orr HS (IL) 2014, good athlete. He is quick off the dribble. He does not finish consistently when he gets to the basket. His outside shot looks poor. He's never been productive when I have watched him in person. Low-Major Plus
#24 Joe Sherburne, 6'5” SG Whitefish Bay HS (WI) 2014, consistent release on his jumper, but did not knock down shots this weekend. Below average athlete for the EYBL level. He did not look like a D1 player this weekend, more like D2 or NAIA. {/iACL}
