Muncie Central entered the game against North Central on a three game winning streak. The three wins came after Andre Jones was cleared to play after transferring from Indianapolis Scecina. North Central lost to Lawrence North during the Marion County Tournament but beat them earlier this week.
North Central domianted the action from the get-go. Senior point guard Wes Stowers set the tone with his shooting and playmaking. He set-up Kris Wilkes for a couple easy baskets around the rim. Stowers is playing with a ton of confidence right now. His game has reached a new level this year.
Muncie Central made a couple mini-runs to threaten North Central's cushion, but the game was never in doubt. Andre Jones and Marcus Dukes made some plays in the second half but Muncie Central could not get enough 'stops and scores' to make it a real game down the stretch. North Central won 62-48.
North Central moved to 11-2 on the season with Warren Central up next. Muncie Central fell to 8-7 and play Lafayette Harrison next week.
