The Junior Indiana All-Stars pulled the rare upset over the seniors on Wednesday night by the score of 103-89. The seniors were without Mr. Basketball Caleb Swanigan, K.J. Walton, Matt Holba and Ryan Fazekas. Eron Gordon led the juniors with 23 points. Purdue-bound guard Ryan Cline had 28 points in the loss.
The junior team went 10-22 from the 3-point line and an excellent 15-18 from the free throw line in the game. The seniors were just 9-33 from the 3-point line with Ryan Cline going 5-12 from the outside. The juniors shot 51% overall from the field.
Along with Cline's strong performance, Tahjai Teague played well for the seniors. He finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds on 8-12 shooting from the field.
The starting five of Kyle Guy, CJ Walker, Damien Jefferson, Joey Brunk and Eron Gordon led the way for the juniors. The starters combined for 69 points while being very efficient.
