The state championship games are set in the 101st IHSAA boys basketball tournament. Kokomo beat Munster 47-44 in the Lafayette Jeff semi-state on a D.J. Balentine 3 with 1.2 seconds left. Bloomington South pulled a major upset by beating North Central 76-66. Xavier-bound Dee Davis scored a career high 31 points for Bloomington South. D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera led North Central with 19 points.
In 3A, Culver Academy beat Columbia City 51-49 in the Huntington North semi-state. At Seymour, Washington rolled over Batesville 66-48. Cody Zeller had 23 points and 18 rebounds in the victory.
In 2A, Bishop Noll over came a fourth quarter deficit to beat Tipton 53-50, who was playing without senior star Greg Dickey. Park Tudor beat previously unbeaten Forest Park in the other semi-state. Yogi Ferrell lead Park Tudor with 25 points.
In 1A, Triton beat Rockville 44-42 in overtime. Griffyn Carpenter scored 23 points in the win. Sophomore Clay Yeo was held to 10 points. Indianapolis Metropolitan continued their great run by beating North Daviess 61-50.
