There are not a lot of games scheduled for Tuesday, but there are some very good ones in the small group. Here are the top five games for Tuesday night.
#5 Horizon Christian (8-2) @ Indianapolis Scecina (5-0) Scecina is a surprising 5-0 so far this season including wins over Chatard and Lapel. Horizon Christian features three Oetjens (Caleb, Josiah, Noah) and they all have deep range. Caleb recently picked up a scholarship offer from Marian University.
#4 Crown Point (2-2) @ Valparaiso (4-1) Valpo's only blemish is a five point loss to Lake Central. Seniors Quentin Palmer and John Mosser are leading Valpo with about 12 points per game so far this season. Crown Point is off to a slower than expected start. A win at Valpo could get Crown Point back on track.
#3 Lake Central (3-1) @ Chesterton (1-3) Record wise, this game does not belong, but it is loaded with college prospects. Lake Central has Tyler Wideman, Tye Wilburn, Mike Miklusak, and Joe Bannister while Chesterton features Matt Holba, Chris Palombizio, and Cole Teal.
#2 South Bend Adams (4-0) @ South Bend Riley (4-1) Adams enters the game undefeated with a signature win over South Bend Washington. They are led by junior Terry Davis, Jr. who is averaging 16 points per game. Riley is led by Chicago State-bound point guard Brock Cosey. Freshman Reontre Lawrence is scoring just less than 12 points per contest.
#1 Louisville Ballard @ Jeffersonville (3-0) The game of the night in Indiana features Darryl Baker and Jeffersonville against Quentin Snider and Ballard out of Louisville. Snider is verbally committed to play for the University of Louisville and used to play for Indiana Elite. Ballard's Kelan Martin still plays for that same Indiana Elite team. Martin has a scholarship offer from IUPUI. Jeffersonville made a statement in the season opener when they beat JaQuan Lyle and Evansville Bosse. They have had two cakewalks since then. Baker is putting up huge numbers so far including 38 points against Bosse.
