Overall | FirstName | LastName | HT | POS | Level | High School | College Choice | Phone | Notes |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
8 | Steve | McElvene | 6-11 | C | Mid-Major | New Haven | Dayton | McElvene was as dominant as you can possibly be in a game. He was 12-13 from the field for 24 points. He also had 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. South Bend Adams had no size to match-up with McElvene, but he was constantly double and triple teamed. He has fantastic hands and a very soft touch around the basket. McElvene must continue to improve his conditioning and athleticism. Both areas have improved from this same time last year. | |
43 | Bradley | Fisher | 6-11 | C | D2 | Myerscough College | Montana State | ||
51 | Trevor | Lockwood | 6-8 | C | D2 | McCutcheon | Huntington | 765-490-3223 | Lockwood has improved over the last year. He has plus length for his size. Good hands. He rebounds in his area very well. He has been finishing consistently at the basket so far this spring. He is definitely worth scholarship money at the D2 |
54 | Brad | Hunt | 6-10 | C | D2 | Jennings County | IU-East | 812-592-8869 | Brad Hunt 6-9 C 2014 Committed to IU-East---Played really well against Norwell. Now Norwell didn't have a true post pressence but he was aggressive on the block. Hunt has always played with an extremely high motor. He has lacked skill and coordination in the past. It looks like things might finally be clicking for the big fella. He showed a soft touch in the paint. Hunt also had some tough catches in traffic with Norwell swarming the post. |
74 | Seth | Cox | 6-11 | C | NAIA | New Palestine | Undecided | 317-667-2777 | Sunday was the best that I have seen Cox play. He did score and even hit a couple of 3's, but I was mainly impressed with his effort. He put out a great effort running the floor on both ends. He's certainly not a deer with his running ability, but he beat guys down the court a few times. His lateral quickness is a concern for the D1 and high D2 levels. Cox is a huge body with some offensive skill though to make up for his lack of quickness. Low-Major Stretch/D2 |
96 | Lukayus | McNeil | 6-7 | C | Big Ten Football | Decatur Central | Louisville (FB) | 317-731-9303 | No skill, Big Ten football recruit, good athlete, extremely strong |
102 | Stacy | Whitt | 6-7 | C | NAIA | Gary Roosevelt | Undecided | 11-20-12 vs. Tech- big, strong athlete and played with good energy. He lacks ball skills and touch around the basket though. | |
106 | Zach | Lett | 6-9 | C | NAIA | Richmond | Undecided | Lefty, thick build. Lett runs fairly well for a non-D1 big. He rebounds pretty well. He didn't show a ton of offensive skill in the two games that I saw on Saturday. Definitely a small college prospect though | |
174 | Max | Meehan | 6'7 | C | D3 | Noblesville | Undecided | 317-874-8482 | Raw, but improving. Wiry build, moves decently. Coach McCollough says that Meehan really works at the game and is showing improvement. |
1000 | Andrew | Kimm | 6-7 | C | Penn | Undecided | 574-276-7533 | Only scored a handful of points as a junior on varsity. | |
1000 | Stuart | Schultz | 6-7 | C | D3 | Guerin Catholic | Undecided | Cancer survivor. Plays a few minutes here and there. |
