Scouting Report | Hall is a player that would score 15+ points per game on pretty much every other 4A team in the state, but he plays for a guard-loaded Cathedral team. He is a smooth shooter and scorer. Good athlete, but not elite…still can get to the basket consistently. Hall will be great at the D2 level and has a chance to be a D1 prospect although he is undersized.
vs. Lake Central 11 points including 5-5 from the free-throw line. He was 0-4 from the 3-point line and had multiple wide open looks. He is a really good D2 or NAIA prospect.
vs. Chatard solid game from Hall. He had 11 points and 4 rebounds. I liked his aggressiveness on the offensive boards. He has been coming off of the bench lately for Cathedral.
vs. Indianapolis Tech did not start and did not have much of an impact on the game. He had a couple of early turnovers when he first got into the game. He finished with 7 points and 4 rebounds. I love him for high-level D2 or NAIA programs.
vs. Northwest was very good and finished with 15 points on 9 shots. He did throw the ball away a few times and finished with 4 turnovers. He is definitely a shooting guard, and cannot play any point at the next level with his skills right now. He's very good coming off of screens. Hall was offered by Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the fall, but the offer is no longer on the table. He is hearing from St. Francis (IN) and Saginaw Valley State.
vs. Guerin I love Hall's game, but I think there are two things that are holding him back from being a D1 prospect. He is undersized at only a true 6-1, and is not a combo guard right now. The second is the fact that he does not create his own shot very often. If he showed the ability to get his own shot, he would be a no-brainer D1.
