Darian Fitzgerald, 6’0” PG 2013, led Broad Ripple in scoring, but he was not very aggressive on the offensive end. He settled for a lot of outside shots against the Guerin zone. I like his game for the NAIA/D3 level, but Broad Ripple needs him to look to attack the basket more often.
Malik Fisher, 6’7” PF 2013, is very long and does some good things around the basket. He needs to have his shooting mechanics corrected, and he needs to put on weight. He could be a project for a junior college or small college.
Muta Irving, 5’11” PG 2013, is a pretty athletic guard, but he is very loose with the ball. He also takes a lot of unwarranted shots. Non-prospect.
Ralph Germany, 6’1” SG 2013, caught my eye during the Metro Indy Fall League. He was underwhelming tonight. His shot looks very inconsistent, and he was not able to get to the basket. Germany could help a low-level NAIA, but probably not much higher. He’s a good athlete, but not great athlete and he is pretty good in the transition.
Chase Parker, 6’3” SF 2013, is a decent athlete. He is much better in transition than he is in the half court. He is forced to play inside for Broad Ripple because of their limited size, but he can play the small forward position. Perimeter skills are limited. He plays hard and seems to be pretty tough. He could help a lot of NAIA/D3 programs.
Arian Stone, 6'1" SG 2014, was at Indianapolis Arlington his first two high school years. He is a decent athlete, and has some skills. He's not high-level in either of those categories. If he improves, he could be a nice NAIA-type player. {/iACL}
