Tre’Shon Heard, 5-10 PG 2015, was easily the best prospect that played major minutes Friday. He is a very good athlete. Heard is pretty well built for a sophomore. He has explosion off the dribble to get to the basket. His outside shot looks to be a little bit streaky. If he tightens up his decision making and becomes a more consistent outside shooter, he will be a very good prospect.
Dionte Nunn-Archer, 5-8 PG 2015, tiny build right now, but quick and a good outside shooter. He did not play enough to get a very good evaluation though.
Trevor Lockwood, 6-7 PF 2014, has a decent touch out to 15-feet, and he is an okay athlete. He is very thin and does not like contact. Those two things limit his production in a big way. NAIA/D3 prospect.
Michael Southern, 6-2 SG 2013, was very aggressive looking to go to the basket. His ball-handling was average. I would say Southern is a non-prospect.
Nathaniel Acree, 6-3 SF 2013, mainly a shooter, but his shot looked inconsistent. He wasn’t a bad athlete, but he is a non-college prospect.
Darnell Butler, 6-3 SF 2016, the freshman played just a few minutes but it looks like he has a chance to be a player. He is long, athletic, and was very active while he was on the court. {/iACL}
