There was a lot of news on Monday. Long-time Butler assistant coach and former player Matthew Graves was named the head coach at South Alabama. He has been ready to be a head coach for quite some time now.
Alex Etherington, 6-6 SF Hamilton Heights 2013, will take an unofficial visit to Indiana State today. He also said that he will take an official visit to New Mexico soon. Etherington stated that he would definitely go to prep school if he did not get a midwest high-major offer earlier in the season. He has now softened that stance. "I still haven't decided about prep (school). It's 50/50 right now," said Etherington about prep school or college next year.
Sean Sellers, 6-6 SF Greensburg 2014, was offered a scholarship by IPFW on Monday. Sellers and Greensburg won the 3A state championship on Saturday. Sellers also has an offer from IUPUI. He will be playing with the Eric Gordon All-Stars again this spring.
Aaron Bode, 6-5 PF Avon 2013, confirmed that he will be going to Notre Dame next year. He was awards the Lily scholarship which will give him full tuition to Notre Dame. He will look into walking on with the basketball team, but he has not looked into it yet.
Harry "Dre" Wills, 6-2 G Ben Davis 2012, is currently taking a post-grad year at Mercersburg in Pennsylvania. Kyle Neddenriep of the Indy Star reports that Wills will take an official visit to Georgia State today. According to the same report, he will also visit Vermont.
