Scholarship offers usually roll in for prospects after evaluation period weekends. This year is no different. Here is a breakdown of recent offers along with many other notes.

Northern Kentucky Trying To Make Impact
It appears that Northern Kentucky is really trying to up their recruitment of Indiana. They have South Bend Washington High School native Todd Johnson on their current roster. They have Delphi shooter Cole Murray coming in next year. In the last two days they have offered Sean Sellers, Tayler Persons, Jacob Johnson, CJ Coleman and Zach McRoberts. Four of the five play AAU with Eric Gordon and Coleman plays for Spiece Indy Ice.
McRoberts might have been the most important player on Carmel's state champion team this year. He is a versatile defender that can guard 1 through 5 in high school. In college that will likely be cut to 2 through 4. He has offensive skill but he rarely is actively looking to score.
Sellers now has three offers in IUPUI, IPFW and NKU. He is a combo forward that is highly productive. Sellers is a good shooter from the outside when he has time and space, but he is best around the basket. He's also a very good free-throw shooter.
Persons has been very good so far this spring. He's a strong player that can play either guard position. When he is shooting it well from the outside he is very tough. I wouldn't be surprised to see him pick up a couple more offers next week.
Johnson picked up an offer from Northern Colorado last year. I'm not sure if they are still in the picture. Johnson has added a lot of muscle in the upper body. He definitely competes on the glass. Johnson has no right hand right now and his perimeter game is still a work in-progress. He has improved since last year but not by leaps and bounds.
CJ Coleman had a game where he went 8-8 from beyond the arc this weekend. He is still better in the mid-range off the dribble than a pure outside shooter. Coleman also received an offer from UMKC this weekend. He's not a great athlete.
Richardson Shines in AAU Again
Rashaun Richardson burst on the scene last April in the IndyBall event. The rest of the summer did not match his IndyBall play. This high school season was not quite what he was expecting either although he did have some good performances. Richardson was impressive once again two weeks ago in the IndyBall event. He showcased an attack game from the perimeter that I have not seen from him. He must have played well in Pittsburgh as well because he has added offers from Kent State and Robert Morris this week.
Furlow Drawing Attention
Athletic point guard Jordan Furlow is showing up on some radars. The Speedway junior is as athletic as they come at the point guard position. He is explosive in terms of quickness and leaping ability. He is hearing from Eastern Kentucky and Western Michigan. Furlow needs to be more consistent with his effort and focus to lock down some offers.
Other Notes
Tyler Jenkins, 6'1" G Hamilton Southeastern 2014, reports an offer from Florida Atlantic.
Indiana State will see Plainfield frosh Max Kurkowski work out soon.
IUPUI and Belmont were expected to watch Frankton's Aaron Korn (2014) today.
Park Tudor frosh Joey Brunk will play the rest of the spring with Indiana Elite-Team Indiana 2016 coached by Kristof Kendrick. {/iACL}
