He is a long, 6-5 wing. He can really elevate off the floor. Many will remember his highlight reel dunk in the state championship game against Greensburg. McCall does a good job of using his length and jumping ability to score over the top of defenders. He is not explosive off the dribble. Since he does not have a great first step he struggles to create space against defenders.
McCall has one Division 1 offer from Chicago State and an NAIA offer from St. Francis in Fort Wayne. It seems like he has ruled out St. Francis though. “I want to get away from Fort Wayne but not too far. So location is a big part of it (the decision),” said McCall. It seems like McCall has a good idea of what he is looking for in a college. “ I just want to go somewhere that I can feel comfortable academically, athletically and socially,” continued McCall. He also noted that he wants to major in chemistry.
He has heard from Ball State, Missouri-Kansas City and IUPUI recently. “I took a visit to IUPUI this past Tuesday (May 7th),” said McCall. It looks like he is in no hurry to make a decision. “I don't want to rush it but if I could be signed in November that would be nice,” said McCall.
McCall started the the club season with Spiece Higher Level-Daniel but he has decided to move to the Indiana Fire. The Indiana Fire are a team based out of Fort Wayne. McCall has played with the Fire the last couple of years. He said that he will be with the Fire for the remainder of the summer. He is a player that low-majors and high level D2 and NAIA programs need to check out. {/iACL}
