This time of the year is big for junior colleges and small colleges. There have been a lot of junior college signings in the last couple of weeks. Here are some notable ones along with analysis.

B.J. Jenkins, 5'11" PG Merrillville HS, who we have rated as a low-major stretch prospect has committed to Neosho County Community College in Chanute, Kansas. Jenkins was a little under-recruited and has a mid-major ceiling. He will need to change his game a little bit to get to that level. I believe he is an NCAA qualifier so he could leave after one season. Jannero Pargo went to Neosho County in the late 1990's.
Antonio Penny, 5'10" PG Logansport HS, has committed to Cochise College in Douglas, Arizona. We have Penny rated as a low-major stretch prospect. He is tough going to the basket, but his jump shot needs work. He definitely has D1 athleticism. He gets to the basket consistently. Penny also seems like a tough kid.
Jaylen Norwood, 6'1" G Pike HS, has committed to Kalamazoo Valley CC in Michigan. Norwood was buried behind many really good guards at Pike. I would expect his college career to be very good. He is athletic and strong. He is also a very good outside shooter. He is a little undersized as a shooting guard but he makes up for it with his athleticism.
Chandler Rowe, 6'6" F North Central HS, has committed to Wabash Valley in Illinois. Rowe showed great potential at times but struggled with consistency. He also was best around the basket and would try to prove he was a perimeter player with limited production. If he adds muscle, he could be a player down the road. He has great length.
Ajay Lawton, 5'10" PG Wesfield HS, has committed to Kirkwood CC in Iowa. Lawton is a very quick point guard. He caught our eye as a freshman but did not have the career that he could have had at Westfield.
Levon Hamilton, 6'1" SG Hammond HS, has committed to South Suburban in Illinois. Hamilton was a high-scoring guard for Hammond but he did not usually do it in an efficient matter.
LaBradford Sebree, 6'2" SF Kokomo HS, has also committed to Cochise College in Arizona. Sebree put up good numbers at Kokomo for very successful teams. {/iACL}
