Speedway's Anthony Jones has a very busy June planned. He has already attended the Butler “Elite” camp and he will be at Ball State this weekend. Here is more on the rising 2015 guard.

Anthony Jones has improved tremendously over the past year. He has always been very talented, but he is tapping into his potential now. He has great length and size at 6-4. Jones is using his length to create opportunities on the defensive end more and more. He used to take plays off but his effort is becoming more consistent.

His biggest weaknesses are shot consistency and his decision making. Jones did shoot decently from the outside this high school season at 36%. His form does not make consistency an easy task. Jones has also been under control more often this spring. He will still take bad shots or get out of control at times but he has improved in both areas.

Jones has no scholarship offers at this point. He will attend “elite” camps at Loyola-Chicago and Miami (OH) later this month. He also has an unofficial visit to Evansville scheduled on June 27th. Jones said that IUPUI, Evansville and Lehigh are recruiting him the hardest at this point.

Jones is definitely a player for low-major to mid-major programs to track in July and the upcoming high school season. {/iACL}
